Suddenly, she realized she would never write a novel the caliber of To Kill a Mockingbird, much less a decent short story, so she ripped the mouse cord from its connection, threw it across the room and collapsed on the floor in a sobbing heap.
Thank you for putting into words the kind of feelings I go through, too, when I sit down to write and it doesn't go as expected. I tried to comment on your wonderfully expressive AARRRGGHH! in your last post but Google wouldn't let me. It's so great to go on and read your beautiful pantoum after this; it's almost as if you had to throw that mouse across the room to get to the pantoum... Daphne
